Inflammation: It sounds like inflammation of the tendon...did you injure it in some way? Have it seen by your doctor if it persists. In the meantime there are some simple things that may help. See your doctor: It may be raynauds disease or Burgers if you smoke. Your doctor can diagnose this and discuss with you if treatment is necessary. Hopefully this will go away. Some of your carpal and metacarpal bones, if broken, need to be addressed sooner rather than later to make sure they heal properly.
