Agree : Dr krauser urges you to put the cart before the horse and get diagnosed. Lots of push to get into alternative therapies by entrepreneurial promoters, but you need to know what is wrong, as things can get worse rather rapidly with certain activities. Sounds like you do have nerve issues, and consider thoracic outlet, but also more peripheral nerve issues. ...Read more

Any injury/trauma?: If sudden thumb pain w/o specific injury, might be from overuse (ligament/tendon) issue. May benefit from splint to immobilize for a few days. If not improving after that, see your Dr / Urgent Care for evaluation and likely imaging to be sure no bone issue, then may splint for longer period. ...Read more

Elbow tendonitis: This is really a tough question. This could be a tendonitis of the elbow, neck problems, etc. You said throbbing wrists (both)? If you are having both sided arm pains, this could come from your neck. If your legs are also hurting, this could implicate an inflammatory arthritis. There are so many different options.
