Depends: It depends somewhat on the nature of the fracture and if there were other associated injuries. It is not terribly abnormal, particularly if you are getting better. Normzl6: Under the cast ur skin does not wear of as it usually does. It causes the skin 2 darken the hair on ur arms becomes darker also. Warm ; stiff is also normal, as long as well healed u should progress fairly fast. ...Read more

Gradually subside: If you have been immobilized in a cast for awhile for a fracture, you will potentially need some therapy to return to normal. You may need to get treatment to regain your normal motion, strength, and yes to decrease some of the residual swelling. Typically 4-6 weeks would be an estimate, but heat, humidity, activity and other medical problems would be factors. ...Read more

As soon: as practicable see a BOARD CERTIFIED HAND SURGEON (and if your present surgeon is that SEE ANOTHER ONE ) for a SECOND OPINION...YES you could have a scarred down tendon...I ASSUME you are in THERAPY for regaining function!! If not YOU SHOULD BE! Hope this helps! Dr Z ...Read more

Your cast may be: too tight and therefore constricting blood flow in and out of your hand. I would call your orthopedic or emergency room doctor and have them revise the cast ASAP.
