Probably not: Probably not. If you're getting relief from taping your great toe, then it's probably okay. However, sometimes if you tape it too tightly you could restrict blood supply. Yes: Assess the motion u have before implant surgery... U may have a little more after surgery or have some loss... An implant is basically a joint spacer... The surgeon may decompress the joint by removing additional bone from the base of the 1st toe to help increase motion but this can cause instability of the joint...I perform implant surgery but am very selective on who receives one... ...Read more
