Symptoms of mania include markedly elevated mood and energy, reduced sleep and a reduced need for sleep, racing thoughts, and grandiose ideas. When mood changes are severe, psychotic ideation may be present. Symptoms of depression can include low energy, feeling sad, feelings of guilt and hopelessness that are out of proportion to the patient's actual situation, low motivation, inability to experience pleasure, and suicidal ideation. Bipolar. If they don't go along w her she uses foul language. They gv into her bcause she destroy house @ awful 2 her sister.Normal 4 bipolar?Any help.

Get help: Tantrums and aggressive outbursts are often symptoms of the disorder and can respond to appropriate medication. I'm bipolar, is it normal for my mood to get worse in the summer? I can't be home or outside, I feel trapped. And the urge for alcohol is constant.

Yes: there can be seasonal patterns. keep a mood log (examples online) and overtime you can notice symptoms, changes and triggers that can help stop or minimize exacerbations. keeping a manic episode at bay or from getting worse can obviously be a lifesaver. you might be able to even try dose increases in mood stabilizer as winter wanes and spring begins and prevent something altogether. ...Read more

If they R working contributing financially makes sense. If not, treatment could have getting back 2 work as a goal. Some family therapy is also adviseable. If they regress U should be in communication w' their therapist. ...Read more
