Not that good choice: Halcion is one of the benzodiazepines, similar to ativan, xanax, (alprazolam) etc. Halcion may cause amnesia by effecting your memory adversely. Halcion is not used anymore, because of significant memory loss, some loss of control and sedation. Halcion may relax u during teeth extraction, but is not a good choice and i would not recommend it. ...Read more

Not a good idea: Halcion is triazolam, and Restoril is temazepam. Both are benzodiazepine sleeping pills. Their effects are very similar — Restoril lasts longer — and would add together if taken at the same time. It is considered poor medical practice to take multiple medications that do the same thing: the results are less predictable and more drug interactions can result. Talk to your doctor: Blackouts from Halcion (triazolam) are a well-known side effect, sufficiently known that Halcion (triazolam) is no longer approved for prescribing in Britain. Tell your doctor about it. There are other medications available. ...Read more
