Repeat Xray or MRI: Initial xray may not show, but should in about 2 wks or so. An MRI is a much better test for for small fracture. A bone scan can also show this. If you did not have trauma, fracture is not likely. Use of antiinflammatory med such as aleve/motrin for pain, and a wrist splint may help quite a bit. U would feel pain--: --but may not show up on images. If I suspected a fracture i would splint it 2 protect it 4 the 2 wks. Part of the fracture healing is that the body absorbs bone @ the fracture site and then becomes visible on images. That's why the wait. ...Read more
