Impacted canals filled with wax are cleared with a dilute Hydrogen Peroxide solution, water and tools can be used to remove the foreign body or substance if it is necessary as a result of your exam. Scalp dermatitis?: Had to tell whether this is chemical irritation/burn, or allergy to the hair dye. Both are common. Best to see a doctor. You could try an over-the-counter steroid cream (hydrocortisone), but a doctor might prescribe more effective treatment, and can confirm the diagnosis. Sometimes a reaction like this uncovers an underlying skin problem, made worse by the hair dye but needing different treatment. ...Read more

Allergy or Chem Burn: The chemicals in hair color can be rather harsh and many people can have an allergic reaction or get a chemical burn from them. The instructions should be followed closely. How does hair dye hurt your head? Does dying your hair cause brain tumors?

I just dyed my hair red and it got all over my skin and it felt like it went in my ears and up my nose when I was rinsing it is this dangerous?

Irritation: A single exposure like this and if the amounts of dye in the nose were minimal, there should not be any emergent danger.
