Just got diagnosed with heavy growth haemophilus parainfluenzae. How long until i feel better. Asthmatic on steroids and biaxin (clarithromycin). Around non imm child?
Finished zpack, 2 rounds of levaquin and now i'm on biaxin. Had sputum sample come up with heavy haemophilus parainfluenzae. Would i need to switch back to cipro (ciprofloxacin) even though just got off levaquin?
My culture shows growth of haemophilus parainfluenzae. my gum keeps having recurrent abscess, PUS drain.
1/ Periodontist and Endodontist think it is because there must be crack on my post crow tooth #7.
2/ I think it is I cut into my gum in 2015. ?
Med assit called and my throat culture was haemophilus parainfluenza 2. Worried because I don't know what this means. amoxicillin for 7 days so far.
