I have a big chocolate cyst in my left ovary and don't want surgery as i had one already for uterine fibroids, can I be pregnant with it?

Possible, not likely: I would recommend removing the endometrioma if you hope to conceive. Its effects are not just destructive to the ovary involved but also deleterious to the entire pelvis and both tubes - which could seriously decrease your fertility. Seek care with a reputable infertility specialist or laparoscopic gynecologist to address this at your earliest convenienc. Take Folic Acid 1-5 mg daile and good luck. ...Read more

I have had two fibroid removal surgeries, which were both done as a laproscopy through the vagina. I still have fibroids. Can I have a baby?

Depends....: That's a hard question to answer in this format. It depends on where the remaining fibroids are located. The closer to the uterine lining, the worse your chances. Also depends on the size of the fibroids and the presence/absence of scar tissue. You really need an evaluation of the uterine cavity (hysteroscopy or sonohystogram or HSG). I recommend you go see a fertility specialist near you. ...Read more

My aunt have ovarion cancer and 2months ago i found out that I have a ovarian cyst on each ovary. I have abdominal pain. Should i get it removed?

Probably not: At age 23 it is very unlikely that your cyst are malignant, to determine if they are a ca 125 can be checked from your blood and an ultrasound is done then repeated in a month. I had an ovarian cyst 4 years bk which ruptured and had it removed. Now i ve been diagnosed with a 7cm ovarian cyst. Can i exercise while i m onmed?

Ovarian Cysts: That is a big cyst that should be followed by ultrasound and exam by a gynecologist. Must ask questions like is the cyst simple or complex, have solid structures, multiple, does it shrink and grow, is there sludge inside? Are you on birth control pills? It can rupture with severe exercise. Probably non-jarring exercise is safe. Be followed by a gynecologist. Most of these cysts go away. ...Read more

How serious is a complex ovarian cyst? I have never had a complex ovarian cyst before. Always simple and i haven't had problems with them for years. Now suddenly I have had two cyst rupture in one week! i was in the ER and told it would just be a few days

I : I am so sorry you are going through this. Ovarian cysts are a very painful, miserable condition. As the er physician advised removal, it is worthwhile to discuss this with a gynecologist. In some patients, treatment with anti-inflammatory type medications or even birth control pills can help shrink cysts down. However, if the cyst looks concerning on ultrasound, often times the patient is advised to have it removed. Only a licensed gynecologist who reviews your studies and takes your history can advise one way or the other. ...Read more
