Likely nothing: Ultrasound and CAT scans finds many small benign lesions in the liver that won't even be seen at the time of a GB removal. Follow up inmaging such as a CAT scan or MRI will usually resolve these concerns. ...Read more

Gallbladder helps: break down fats. W/out it some folks have GI symptoms. Diagnostechs lab in Washington state has a good GI lab panel or your doc can do more conventional tests. Complication?: It could be a complication due to a bike leak or bile duct injury. Ask about doing a HIDA scan (nuclear medicine) to see if the duct system is intact and/or leaking. If the operation wasn't an emergency, he should be home by now. Hope this helps! ...Read more

Usually people with those findings get better after GB removal, but if you are still having problems, you need to talk to your surgeon about it.
