Depends: If you have an intact uterus then I would use a birth control pill as it provides both the estrogen and progesterone you need to prevent pregnancy and endometrial hyperplasia. If you have had a hysterectomy than both premarin (conjugated estrogens) and estradiol (estrace) would be fine. The estrogen in birth control by the way is estradiol as well.
