Differences between men/women gynecologists. I've heard that women are less sensitive to thoughts/feelings. True?
Doctors Personality: I have heard these rumors myself over my career. But, of course the rumors or myths are not true. All kinds of physicians have all kinds of personalities. You should not choose your doctor on the basis of their gender. But, you choose someone who listens and answers your questions. ...Read more
Obstetricians deal with pregnancy and helping women to have a healthy baby. Is nature sunshine a healthy product? I take it but not many ppl know about it, it says its mainly herbal but idk if it is. Opinion?
Not known for sure: If it is an herbal product or a vitamin supplement, but not a real medication approved by the FDA, then it is probably not tested for interactions and side effects in the way that real medicines are tested. I'm nervous about asking my questions because I have never been to a gynecologist before. What should I do?

Pain: Doctors take care of thousands of patients in their careers. They learn to recognize and anticipate the patient's symptoms and responses. They aren't lying any more than a female gynecologist who's never had a baby can tell you it will hurt. They are trying to reassure and prepare you so you won't think something's wrong , or be surprised by a sudden discomfort. It's all in the service of helping. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

If he is in the exam room, the woman will possibly be sharing all of her medical, sexual, and reproductive history with somone who may not be in a long term relationship with her, and could use this information against her in the future. This scenario is not recommended. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I am not a virgin...If I go to a gynecologist to diganose my problem..Will it b known to her dat I am not virgin?
Of course! But ...: The doctor will know a patient is not a virgin the minute the patient tells the doctor! of course, if the patient doesn't tell the doctor, the doctor won't know, and will have to ask the patient, or will have to guess. On the other hand, the virginity thing is highly over-rated, and not very important except in issues of pregnancy, std's, psychological symptoms, and unfortunately, sexual assaults. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
