Any MRIs? any pain?: "heaviness" can result from rotator cuff injuries. Coordination problems can also mimic heaviness and can result from central nervous system issues. Obviously problems like this can range from something completely benign, to something significant like ms. Compression of nerve: which will hopefully be temporary. The usual position for a person installing flooring is to support your weight on your extended wrists. If you have arthriti: -tis, ,resistive exercise is not the best thing to do. Range of motion is good but swimming is much better, or minimally resistance curls. The best way to get your exercise in is to avoid heavy use & activity modification, especially if you have pain after exercising. If you have no pain, you should be okay.
