Grow Height After 21
Leg lengthening surg: At 21, your growth plates are sealed and thus vertical growth is no longer occurring. The only option at this point would be to have a leg-lengthening surgery--a gruesome procedure but can add a few inches. Keep your body proportionate/good healthy wt--good things come in small packages. If you are not happy with yourself, consult doc for eval. I am pretty sure u r taller than i. Good luck. ...Read more
No: The potential additional length anyone can expect depends on areas in the long bones (arms, legs, fingers)called growth plates. This is where growth occurs and an active open growth plate means more growth is possible. An x-ray of the hands & wrists can be evaluated for bone maturity since there are many growth centers to see. If your bone maturity is >18yo you are done growing taller. ...Read more

At 21 I was 5'4, and keep that height. Sudenly, at 34, I notice that, I grow 2 inches more. Is this normal? Even without any stretching exercise, etc?
Unlikely now: At age 19, your epiphyses are probably closed and you are unlikely to have any more vertical growth. Although being tall is usually a plus for a man, you still have complete control over your muscular development and definition. Most people will be much more impressed with an athletic-looking body regardless of your height. Focus on this, and good luck. ...Read more

Regular exercise: To grow your butt you must do regular exercise focused on your gluteal muscles. You can try squats and lunges as well as leg press which focus on the gluteal (butt) muscles. Regular resistance training focused on your lower body will do it. Otherwise a butt augmentation which would require surgery and implants. ...Read more

Iam 21. My growth plates r closed iguess. But my spine can still grow right? And add few inches to my height?
Not likely...: By 21 years of age most human beings have reached their adult height. It is not likely your spine is going to take off on it's own and grow "a few inches" while the rest of your bones stay the same! Not to worry. Physical height won't hold you back unless you're dead set on being a pro basketball player! ...Read more
Hello, I'm 17 years old, I'm a boy and I'm only 155 CM height, can I still grow until 21 years old, and how much? Please answer. Thank you.
It depends on genetics and parental height, as well as your level of maturity, called Sexual Maturity Rating.
Since you are under 18, you would want to share this info with your parents and discuss with them too.
You have not provided a lot of info I would need to answer it fully. ...Read more
Hii my age is 21 and my height is 5'4" and I want to grow taller any how....is there any way out?? pls suggest something very usefullthank you..
You're done: Hi. How tall are your parents? By age 21, normal males have fused their bone growth plates, and cannot grow taller. You can have hand X-rays for bone age done to determine if your growth plates are closed and if your bone age, therefore, is consistent with your chronological age. But, playing the odds, you're done growing. ...Read more
Hi iam 21 yrs old female n my height is 5.2. I want to increase my height. Do I have any possiblities? What methods or exercise can grow my height
Accept your size: At 21 your growth centers are most likely closed ; no further growth is possible. If your growth centers are open (xray of hand can tell) you might grow some, but most growth centers close at 17 in females so this is unlikely. There is no magic exercise or diet to grow taller. ...Read more
Can't be done: Get a bone age study. If bones not fused, then good nutrition, exercise & enough sleep will allow you to grow to your potential. If you're exceptionally short & bones aren't fused, a pediatric endocrinologist might offer you growth hormone. But neither of these situations is "quick". It doesn't work that way, most likely not at your age when bones are fused. ...Read more
You probably can't:
Most girls stop growing 2-3 years after they start menstruating. At that time the growth plates of the bones close and it is impossible to grow any taller. Almost all females stop growing at age 14-15.
So you need to accept that at 17 you are full-grown. Your current height is as tall as you will be. ...Read more
Height: If you've completed puberty you aren't likely to grow taller. Girls complete puberty by ages 15 to 17 & for boys it is by ages 16 to 17. However, if one enters puberty late, they will usually also complete it late. Our height is largely determined by genetics (our parents' height). If you are healthy (no unusual causes for stunted growth/ smaller stature) then there is not a way to become taller ...Read more
Growth unlikely: An 19 yr old is not growing taller if his growth plates have fused. If not fused, he will grow a little bit (pediatrician's growth chart for him can tell if growth has stopped). To look taller, one can choose properly designed clothing; shoes, and have good posture. Vitamins, supplements, "special" foods, exercise, etc... will not make a person living in the U.S. taller (height here is genetic). ...Read more

Not at age 25 years: Most people reach their maximum height in their late teens. Without nutritional problems or chronic childhood illnesses, height is largely based on genetics and parental heights. Aside from eating right, exercising, sleeping well, and being happy, there's not much a person nor his doctor can do to increase height. In rare cases, growth hormone is approved for use in younger, extremely short kids. ...Read more
Grouth plates open?: Growing bones have plates of new growth located just before the bone ends. These growth plates have less density than bone & show up on xray as a dark line like a crack. As long is there are active growth plates, there is potential for more growth in that bone. A hand xray can see if they have more time to grow. If the growth plates have closed linear growth is done. Most girls close at 16 & r done. ...Read more
