I have been told I have reflux of my deeper veins around my groin and behind my knee. My legs are painful with edema 1 year. Is this serious?
Could be: Need evaluation to make sure edema is due to venous cause and some other problem like cardiac. If other possible causes ruled out then see vein specialist as chronic edema will lead to many problems over time.
