Shoulder Pain: Sounds like you have ligament instability of the shoulder. The best treatment for this is strengthening exercises. Couple things: One of the major causes of this would be osteoarthritis. Is it painful? I would recommend seeing your doc to for a physical exam, possible pt if it is painful, as well as shoulder exercises. If the surgery was recently, it may be irritated/inflamed from surgery (positioning?) or from certain rehab exercises or overcompensation to protect AC joint. Sprain AC joint: Most likely it's the ac sprain, which is a common condition. Other possibilities would be tendonitis/bursitis, if any trauma then a fx/strain etc. Rarely a nerve problem from the neck.
