Infection: Black colored stools/diarrhea is known as melena. Melana is usually due to upper GI bleeding from stomach/duodenum. This along with nausea, stomach cramps and fever may be seen with bacterial infection or gastroenteritis. The ibuprofen you take may also be causing to your symptoms.
