Not well known yet: Green coffee bean extracts have caffeine, which is a stimulant, depending on how much caffeine one takes, and on how sensitive his body is to caffeine. There are other plant chemicals as well. Most likely, green coffee is not well regulated nor well studied, so it may contain uncertain amounts of listed ingredients, plus various amounts of unlisted ingredients. One cannot be sure of its effects. ...Read more
I bought green coffee premium 1 yr ago, is it expired now? And what is the side effects of using such drug?
You should be able to find an expiration date somewhere on the bottle but I expect it is still good and safe to use even if a bit past the "expiration date" (which is generally not that accurate). The only side effect might be getting a bit hyper from the caffeine but it only has as much caffeine as 1/5 cup of coffee. See

My husband loves to eat he 103. He has the urge for sweet everyday. .. I head about Greens+. ...any side effects?
Yes, from caffeine: Green tea has many health benefits, due to its antioxidant effects. There is evidence it can prevent cancer and cardiovascular disease, improve immune function, prevent tooth decay, lower blood sugar and stimulate weight loss. It is safe and generally well tolerated, but it does contain caffeine (though decaffeinated forms are available). Thus, the most common side effects are due to excess caffeine, including insomnia, anxiety, heart palpitations, nausea and vomiting. However, the amount of caffeine in green tea is about 1/4 the amount in coffee, so one will not likely experience such effects unless they drink large quantities. There is also the potential for large amounts of green tea to interact with certain medications- for example, it can reduce the effects of Coumadin (warfarin) (but then again, thousands of substances interact with coumadin!) and lower blood levels of lithium. Limited data: Since the extract dose contain small amounts of caffeine one could suffer the same side effects that others note from caffeine intake. Additionally, the chlorogenic acid which is one of the major chemicals in the extract, may also play a laxative role (as it is found in prunes too) and lead to some diarrhea. Overall very limited data is available in this regards. Best of luck. ...Read more
Green tea is proven to have remarkable health benefits because it's rich in antioxidant polyphenols known as catechins, as well as L-theanine which has a calming effect. In general the more the better but it does have some caffeine and too much caffeine can make you jittery, raise blood pressure etc. So consider decaf if drinking lots. See http://tinyurl. Com/nrafp28

What are the side effects of green tea triple fat burner? And how long can I use it if I want to lose 20 pounds? Thanks
Green tea is loaded: With antioxidents but does contain some caffeine. It's best to drink it earlier in the day, especially if you have sleep problems. Loose green tea (rather than bags) so much the better. White tea is even a bit better biochemically and, in my opinion, has a lighter taste. Peace and good health. Green tea speeds up metabolism but diet and exercise are necessary too. EGCG capsules good. ...Read more
Sorry I forgot to state it's the green coffee bean I wanted to try with Zoloft (sertraline) is this the same side effects?
Good question!: I'm guessing that you suffer depression, anxiety or both...And are overweight? My first question would be "did you run this by the doctor prescribing you zoloft (sertraline)? " whoever that might be, certainly deserves the courtesy of an alert if you are contemplating changing the treatment plan! Next, beware that experimenting on your brain chemistry could be disastrous! . ..Or harmless. Do you want that risk? ...Read more

Is green tea safe to drink 3cups daily for weight loss? What are side effects and benefits of green tea?
Safe, but: It won't help you lose weight. You can only do that by eating less and exercising more -- plus the diet rx's you're already on can help you, but only for as long as you take them. The diet and exercise can work for the rest of your life. If obesity is severe, bariatric surgery should at least be investigated. ...Read more

Are there any known risks or side effects to taking green coffee bean supplements for weight loss?
If you swallow anything that provides a stimulatory effect (caffeine products) or that induces mild nausea (coffee grounds), then you can expect to lose your appetite and therefore lose weight. These are not "fat burners" or "metabolism speeders" (there is no such thing), nor are they healthy.

I want to know if there are any side effects in using pre-workout, green coffee extract and fat burner supplements?
Yes: It depends on the make up of the fat burner supplement. Many over the counter weight loss supplements have stimulants in them. If taken in excess, they can cause palpitations, trouble sleeping, nervousness, etc... I generally do not recommend supplements to lose weight as most are unproven and the best way to lose weight and stay healthy is just plain diet and exercise in moderation. ...Read more

Is it true that folic acid and green tea supplements help fight cervical dysplasia and HPV? Any side effects?
Adjunct only: The claims about green tea are based on Petri dish work. I think it's rubbish. You will pee out any folic acid beyond that your body needs. HPV is ubiquitous but if you have dysphasia and do not comply with treatment that is essentially 100% effective if done on time, it can cost you your life. Be discerning and good luck. ...Read more
