Green Floating Poop
Not mildew: If this is a persistent problem, you may want to get it checked out especially for fat malabsorption (Celiac disease etc) when the stool floats. If this happens only for a few days, don't be worried over it. It is unlikely to be mildew even though yeast is a usually resident in the intestines. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

My stools come out in very dark greenish black pebbles. What does this mean? I've had different color, texture, and floating and non float stools
Possibly melena?: Dark-colored stools may result from iron supplements, foods you eat (like a lot of spinach), substances (like peptobismol), but most significantly suggests bleeding. When blood is denatured by acid in your stomach, as from ulcers, stools will turn tarry ("melena"). Blood may also be ingested from nose bleeds, bleeding gums... Orange watery stool? Abdominal crming, gasy, watery orange stool. Some solid stool, lack of energy.
Hello. : Hello. I can’t diagnose the reason for your orange colored stool. Passing orange feces may mean the stool either isn’t absorbing or isn’t coming in contact with enough bile salt. This can happen if the stool is transiting too quickly through the colon. As a result of moving so rapidly, fluid is not be adequately reabsorbed through the colon which results in liquid feces. Sometimes the problem can be that bile isn’t getting through the bile ducts (i.e., like gallstones). Diarrhea, irritable bowel syndrome, gallstones & inflammation of the bile ducts are just a few possible reasons for orange stool. If you have been ingesting a lot of antacids that contain aluminum, that can also cause orange stools. Suggest you consult with your doctor on this one. ...Read more

Stools with undigested food; diarrhea ranging from watery, explosive, difficulty letting it out; usually darkmustard colored; slimy; fish odor; foamy?
Bile: A viral infection or food poisoning may be the cause. Green stool is usually caused by rapid transit time in the gut, which can happen when an infection makes the gut mucosa more permeable to water or prevents absorption of your intake. Bile refluxing from the duodenum is enough to make vomit green. Hope you're feeling better -- if this is clearly not a mild self-limited illness, get seen. ...Read more
