Green Clumpy Discharge
I was treated for trich & a UTI about a week ago. 2000 Flagyl and a little bag of amoxicillin. I now have lime green clumpy discharge. What is it?
Vaginal discharge: Sounds like lime green clumpy discharge of unknown etiology. All kidding aside, this can only be accurately diagnosed after being seen and possibly cultured. There are several bacteria, including pseudomonas (which is resistant to what you have taken) that can produce secondary overgrowth infections. In order to clear it up it may have to be cultured and examined under a microscope. Good luck. ...Read more

Keep having light green/yellowish clumpy discharge from vagina with odor, mostly on tampon. Have endo, no abnormal annual test results. What could it be?
I have a yellow/green clumpy dry discharge for over a month. It seems to come and go, with a sour odor. My partner and I have HSV2. IUD Mirena (levonorgestrel). ?
It does not sound: normal. Any discharge of strange color/odor/consistency needs to be examined and diagnosed by a healthcare provider. IUD insertion may introduce infections, or its presence with hormone release locally in the uterus may trigger cervical mucus discharge but it should not be "light green" in color. I have gotten a weird clumpy green discharge in the last 10 minutes, but im wondering if it has anything to with me cleaning my vagina with a wet wipe?
See your gyno: OK, so I have to ask: did you actually place the wet wipe inside your vag or just wipe on the outside? NEVER put cleansers inside your vagina no matter how gentle; this will irritate your vagina in the worst way. Water should be only used for vaginal "cleansing" and only on the outside at that! Second: are you having unprotected sex? Abnormal discharge can herald an STD. See your gyno for this. ...Read more
I have occasional light green discharge, and sometimes my discharge is like clumpy and white, other days it's a milky slime..Is it normal..
One swab: You need a pelvic exam and one swab test to examine your secretions for bacterial vaginosis. Sometimes the normal hydrogen peroxide secreting Lactobacillus bacteria in the vagina get replaced by anaerobic bacteria such as Gardnerella, Ureaplasma, Mycoplasma, etc. Studies show women who do have BV have a higher risk for Gonorrhea and Chlamydia.
