Can the skins of butter beans have any nutritional value?

Doc does boiling mixed beans in water n having them .....With an aim to achieve protein ? Does it gives protein or its nutritional value decreases?

Beans and protein: Beans are valuable sources of protein, especially for people who eat vegetarian diets. Soaking dried beans in water before cooking them helps remove indigestible sugars that lead to flatulence -- it won't change the protein content. http://tinyurl.com/l4j4go4. ...Read more

What's your opinion on moringa olfeira? I've heard it's great to boost supply and nutritional value of mothers milk but i also read that women of child-bearing age shouldn't take it?

Not well-studied: It is great for mother to provide breast milk to their infants. There are many health benefits for both involved. However, I do not recommend substances like moringa olfeira because of the lack of data. Does it help, i'm skeptical; could it harm either the baby or mom, not worth the risk. Disclaimer: I am a physician-scientist who likes data. ...Read more

Depending on your rehab, improved muscle strength and return to a relatively normal/pre-surgical range of motion, these will determine a more definitive date for you. You need to follow-up with your surgeon or at least pcp, to get a best answer of a return to work date. Best wishes. ...Read more

I've had a jelly bean sized verruca on my big toe for 3 years. Home freeze treatment and trying to cut it out have all failed, any recommendations?

Avoid Scarring.: Warts, especially when located on the toes, can be a little more difficult. With limited skin area and very specialized "thick" skin on the bottom, care must be taken. Techniques that cause damaging or scarring of this skin can create more challenging issues in the toe. Using dehydrating chemicals to reduce the wart size as well as kill small satellite warts helps and often is all that's needed. ...Read more

Anxiety, new obsession is bowel movements. Now I have on & off diarrhea for 2 weeks not watery, just big blob to somewhat normal. Saw green bean once.

Keep it simple: Assuming that you don't have inflammatory or irritable bowel syndrome and are not taking antibiotics, your body can take care of itself if you take care of it. Plenty veggies, adequate fluids, regular exercise and 7-8 hours sleep will put you in good shape. Any way you can focus on achieving those goals rather that on the BMs (that is, on the process rather than the results)? Hope that helps! ...Read more
