No.: There have been zero studies in humans regarding graviola fruit extract efficacy in the treatment of cancer. There was one study published in 2011 that showed promising results in vitro (i.e. Plastic dishes) and in vivo (i.e. Mice), but this was a very limited study with a small number of samples. Overall, the data regarding gfe as a cancer treatment is exceedingly limited. ...Read more
Cancer is a group of diseases that is characterized by uncontrolled cell growth leading to invasion of surrounding tissues that spread to other parts of the body. Cancer can begin anywhere in the body and is usually related to one or more genetic mutations that allow normal cells to become malignant by interfering with internal cellular control mechanisms, such as programmed cell death or by preventing ...Read more
Of course not: This is one of the most vicious cancer frauds being promoted. Unlike laetrile, the plant is actually a deadly poison and causes brain damage in the guadeloupe islanders who eat it. There is nothing "spiritual" or "open-minded" about believing obvious lies. Don't reward these people for lying to you by buying their product "because it doesn't cost that much.". ...Read more
Absolutely: Yes, absolutely you can eat soursop fruit. It is yummy actually. ...Read more
Cruel frauds: I was actually the guy who blew the whistle on the zeolite fraud. It's the clay used in water softeners, now sold for $100/drop. Graviola is a poisonous plant that's promoted by the hate-mongering charlatans for gullible cancer victims. Don't let these people have a penny -- they are maliciously deceiving you. ...Read more
Not Effective: Graviola or soursop is a fruit grown in rain forests in s.America, africa & se asia. The fruit contains substances known as annonaceous acetogenins which may be able to kill certain cancer cells in a test tube (according to a perdue u study). No studies in humans have been done so there's no evidence that it can work to kill cancer in your body. It can also cause parkinson's like symptoms. ...Read more
My friend has leukemia and I heard about the new cancer fighting properties of graviola. Is it safe to give her dynamic health graviola juice blend in?
Cruel fraud: This is the thorn-apple, a semi-poisonous plant. The hateful language that many of its salespeople use about a "conspiracy to suppress a cure" should be enough to tell you that it's phony. I'm sorry about your friend, but don't give a penny to the people who are seeking to make a fast buck by smearing the physicians who've tried to save her -- and still may. ...Read more
My friend is diagnosed with breast cancer & went for surgery. Is now under chemotherapy. Can she take graviola tree products alongside? Side effects?
Ask Your Oncologist:
1) take your Arimidex (anastrozole) faithfully this will reduce your risk of recurrence
2) there are no human studies looking at graviola in breast cancer risk reduction
3) graviola is a supplement so it should be ok
4) be aware that one major side effect of graviola is neuromuscular damage and can lead to something similar to parkinson's
5) most importantly talk to your oncologist. ...Read more
No one knows:
As best as I can tell, there has not been a single research study published on graviola. Many people have tried this for cancer and other conditions, but without any scientists studying the safety and effects of graviola in humans there is absolutely no way to know if graviola has any effect on platelets.

Stage4Cancer (started in breast mid-late 50s female)do u think "Biotech nutritions-Pure Graviola 1300mg"gelatin free dietary supplement would help her?
Probably not: Stage 4 breast cancer requires a lot more than just a dietary supplement. Its very important that she follow her oncologists recommendations. If she wants to to try a nutritional adjunct, there are total immersion programs for cancer. Some examples are Dr Lorraine Day's 10 Step Program for Cancer Treatment and Eden Valley Institute of Wellness. These are both great adjunctw. Best wishes! ...Read more
Yes and no: Cancer is not "other", it is the inevitable result of accumulated mutations in our own genes and will eventually arise and kill any multicellular organism that does not die of something else first. However, we now cure 4 out of 6 cancers mostly due to early detection. Fear cancer, but fear it rationally and with knowledge as an advocate for your own health. ...Read more
Sometimes: Cancer is a few thousand different diseases that have in common destabilization of the genome, making it very tough to cure once it's no longer localized enough to remove surgically. When I was a kid, we cured 2 in 6; a med student 3 in 6, now 4 in 6. Some meds often cure certain disseminated cancers. There will never be a single medicine to cure this, and some will remain intractable. ...Read more
Hard to say.: I'm sure the future of medicine holds promise for lots of people and many medical conditions. One of the basic issues is that a cancer cell's metabolic processes are so similar to those in a regular cell, so how do we differentiate between the two to target the cancer cells and not the regular cells? ...Read more
None: Websites promoting particular foods as curing, or even really benefitting, cancer patients are cruel hoaxes. They may look authentic, or you may not be willing to believe that people will lie so shamelessly while claiming to be "spiritual" or "on your side against the wicked medical establishment." It all bunk. Opt for scientific medicine, or any cancer that you may have will kill you. ...Read more
No: Hiv infection increases the risk of several cancers like kaposi sarcoma, cervical cancer, and certain kinds of lymphoma. In fact, some of these cancers define the diagnosis of aids vs. "just" an HIV infection. Hiv is much more treatable than when it was discovered but no reason to be careless. Don't do drugs and avoid funky sex. Best to you and happy holidays. ...Read more
Yes, if early enuf: Like other cancers, rectal cancer has better prognosis (outlook) if diagnosed and treated at an earlier, rather than later stage. Very early cancers can be cured with burning the tissue. More advanced will likely need radiation/chemo/surgery in varying combinations and timing. Can be cured, but unfortunately, not always. ...Read more
There isn't one: Cancers occur from quite a lot of different cells. The trick is to get rid of the cancer and not the normal cells and each cancer cell has different specific treatments. These range in susceptibility due to faster growth (chemotherapy and radiation), specific growth hormone use (breast cancer), specific protein makers (lymphoma) and others I am applying for grants for. ...Read more
No home cure: Ependymomas are primary cancers in the brain. They tend to be slow-growing and may be amenable for treatment for a time but are more often not curable. If you want to take a proactive approach to a difficult disease, a practitioner interested in complementary medicine (physical, mental, spiritual) may be able to help in a variety of ways. ...Read more
No: I am sorry but my answer is no. It has a few role in cancer as a supportive therapy for instance for severe intractable pain and for intractable vomiting. However, lately we also learn that weed actually can cause severe nausea/vomiting too for some people. But weed is not something you take to cure cancer. ...Read more
Yes and no: Cancer is not one disease but many, caused by multiple things and with very different behaviors and outcomes. May sound negative, but to the best of my ability to foresee things, I doubt there will be a cure for each and every one. That said, thousands of cancers are cured right now with the proper therapy and I wish to believe the numbers of survivors will continue to go up. ...Read more
