I've noticed a point on my spine with a buzzing sensation that radiates occasionally, should I be worried?

Maybe: It may be nothing, and it more than like is. However, when something is irritating a nerve coming out of your spine, such as a pinched nerve caused by a disk, it can cause similar symtpoms. I would get an MRI of the spine in that location. ...Read more

Pap Smears: Don't be worried but follow through with the recommendations of your physician. There are stages of changes in the cells from the cervix that can predict risk for getting cancer. They are going to just make sure there is nothing worse and to zap or treat anything that can be treated to prevent this from progressing. Also you need the hpv vaccine urgently if you have not already had this. ...Read more

I have had all my tests 3 yrs ago but they keep finding my iron levels low and they keep putting me back on iron. Worried is this normal.

Fe deficiency.: By "all my tests" I assume you mean you had a thorough evaluation for blood loss including upper and lower GI examinations. If iron levels remain low despite negative exams you must be losing iron in menstruation or failing to absorb iron. The treatment would be to control menstrual losses and to supplement your iron. Your doc should have a better understanding of which problem you have. ...Read more

Muscle strain: Given that your pain is positional, isolated highly suggestive muscle/ligament origin. Our latissimus dorsi is large muscle attaching over broad area of our mid back/flank area. We use this muscle when we use our upper extremities. Trying to square up to what you are lifting so arms are symmetric, bend at the knees and keep objects close to your body when lifting will decrease strain. ...Read more

Either way typically back pain resolves within 3-6 weeks with conservative therapy (rest, ice, anti inflammatories, etc). If you are still persisting with pain then see your doctor for further evaluation. ...Read more
