Bite wound infected: Rabies works from the inside - so you won't see any outward redness or signs like that. The bite area however, could certainly get red, painful and ooze pus. If this is happening, you really need to see a doc to get help. You don't want this infection getting out of control. Rabies risks: Dogs primarily are responsible for transmission of rabies to people. It would be extremely rare for a rabbit to transmit rabies.
