18 days since cast/brace removed for 1st metacarpal fracture thumb. 4 therapy sessions later wrist is still immobile & thumb still swollen won't bend.
24 days after cast removed (casted 4 weeks) for non-displaced left wrist triquetrum chip fracture, son still has pain during baseball. Is this normal?
Triquetral avulsion: fractures can take some time for pain to go away. there is not typically a structural issue, it is an avulsion o the tendinous attachment and capsular attachment to the bone.
