Triquetral avulsion: fractures can take some time for pain to go away. there is not typically a structural issue, it is an avulsion o the tendinous attachment and capsular attachment to the bone. Sometimes after immobilization there is pain with extremes of flexion and deviation, for some of these casting is not used as stiffness can be a source of pain. gentle ROM and time and therapy if needed typically suffices ...Read more
