If I have gonorrhea can I just take amoxicillin with no probenecid?

If I have gonorrhea can I just take amoxicillin with no probenecid?

Where are you??: Amoxicillin-resistant gonococci are very common in many areas, and not recommended as first line therapy. I would be concerned the tonsillitis could even be from the gc itself. Gc needs an injected antibiotic called Ceftriaxone to cure it and it would be worth being treated for chlamydia at same time which needs a different pill. See your doctor asap! ...Read more
