I am in an 8-year marriage. After test for possible pregnancy all tests were neg but possitive for gonorrhea? Is it possible for false positive?
Gonorrhea: Unfortunately it is very unlikely that there is a false positive result. I am sorry. ...Read more
Two possibilities: Two possibilities: (1) the female got it from someone else, or (2) they didn't test the male the right way. A urine test only tells you whether the male has gonorrhea in the urethra (penis). Rectal and throat swabs are necessary to find out whether he has it in one of those locations. ...Read more
Several reasons: You had it but he never caught it (not likely if no sex with others in past few mo). His test missed it. His infection cleared on its own (gon is cleared by the immune system in a few wks or mos). He was treated, didn't tell you. Or he isn't being truthful about his test result. Most important: he still must be treated. NO sex with him until he has been treated. ...Read more

Is it possible for gonorrhea to reoccur after being treated with follow up. I am positive again after two months and havnt had any partners.
Mistreated: I believe I have already answered your question. I Tested positive for gonorrhea but my husband was negative. I looked in his military records and no signs of him going behind my back. I'm confused?
A few possibilities: The usual explanation in situations like this is that the male has had other partners. He may have been treated and didn't tell you; or his infection cleared up on its own, which can happen over a few weeks. If you were infected from someone else, your husband may just be lucky so far. Test results can be false, but rarely. You both need treatment, regardless of his test result. Good luck! ...Read more
