I am on levoxyl (thyroxine) .112 and becuse of the recall have to go to Synthroid .112..Which would you normally recommend for your patient and why?
Same med: You can consider synthroid to be the brand name and Levoxyl (thyroxine) the generic name of the same medicine. They are interchangeable, and you should notice no difference at all in the effect of your medication (change).
