Is it normal when using glyceryl trinitrate for patella tendonosis for it to hurt when its applied and make the knee more sore after exercise?
Side effects for: Glyceryl trinitrate that have been reported include burning sensation, rash, swelling (if patch is used). Increased soreness after exercise may be due to overuse since there is less pain. Perhaps an alternate formulation (spray or ointment) might eliminate burning.
