Diagnosed with anal fissure, is there any pain relief ointments that can be used? Currently using glycerine suppositories.

I sometimes take stemetil and glycerine suppositories but have hemorrhoids. Will the suppositories affect the hemorrhoids or harm and irritate them?

Given the fact that you have hemorrhoids however you need to be extra careful with the insertion of the suppository so that you don't accidentally cut the hemorrhoid with a fingernail. Could be: If you emptied effectively you may not have had any more move down into position for emptying.If this is a recurring problem, something like Miralax (polyethylene glycol) taken daily for a few weeks can soften/move things along enough to get and stay regular.
