Can glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate relieve symptoms of osteoarthritis?

Variable: Some people report considerable relief with this combination, others report no help at all. Interestingly, in dogs, relief is much more common. The only way to find out is to try it for 3 months as it may take that long. Consider adding msm to the regimen as that acts as an anti-inflamatory and can also help. Any interactions?:ashwagandha, magnesium l threonate, taurate, glycinate, fish oil, cdp choline, acetyl l carnitine, alpha lipoic acid, vitamin d,prilosec

Why Supplements?: Since you're 17 years old, I am concerned that you are spending time and money wasting it on the supplements that you listed. While some of the substances are present in a healthy diet, there is actually no reason you should be taking them in the form of a supplement. You should be getting all the vitamin D you need in a healthy diet, and the other things, except Prilosec, are unproven. ...Read more

Can plexus slim be taken w seaweed nazacort echinachea opc grapeseed garlic Lipitor (atorvastatin) ginger omeprazole fish oil acetyllcartinine & glucosaminecondroit?

Probably: One of the problems with many supplements is that there is little research on safety and effectiveness. Plexus slim has many ingredients; I have reviewed them ; they are all safe and have no known interactions with the things you are taking. However, avoid plexus slim accelerator- it is hazardous! i believe anyone on Lipitor (atorvastatin) should take coq10. See http://bit.Ly/1jjpcpg ; http://bit.Ly/1era8lt. ...Read more

Is it safe to take glucosamine, chondroitin, msm, vitamin d, calcium citrate, multivitamin, l arginine, l lysine, l ornthinine, Prilosec together?

Should be fine: I don't see any significant problems taking all of these supplements. If you have any side effects, however, it may be a challenge to know which is the culprit. Typically, side effects from these are minimal or not existent. If you are taking the prilosec due to the others causing GI complaints, you may want to reconsider this strategy. ...Read more

An article says, jarrow n acetyl glucosamine 750mg, jarrow glucosamine hci mega 1000mg, jarrow niainamide cure fructose malabsorption. Is it possible

Might help, not cure: Fructose malabsorption may be caused by deficiency of glut5 (http://en.Wikipedia.Org/wiki/glut5). I found a report of someone having relief taking the 1st 2 supps you mention (http://glutenfreesoyfree.Wordpress.Com/2012/03/05/potential-cure-for-fructose-malabsorption/) they said these heal cells that produce glut5. There's no research on this but it seems possible. However, on stopping it recurred. ...Read more
