My eyes are blurry, and i'm seeing a glow around everything after being in a swimming pool for only an hour?

Corneal swelling.: You likely are experiencing some swelling in your cornea, the clear front portion of your eye, from exposure to the chlorine and salts in the pool water. If you open your eyes while in the pool and are not wearing a swimming mask or swimming goggles, this is more likely to happen. Can one develop an allergy to a shellfish by eating a meal of it for 5 days in a row?

Can one develop an allergy to a shellfish by eating a meal of it for 5 days in a row?

Yes: The latest opinion (& yet a very old opinion) is that protracted avoidance of a food more likely results in allergy than early exposure. My job forces me to sit in front of the monitor or laptop screen for more than 8 hours a day. Is it better to wear a powerless glass (zero power) to reduce the impact?

Glare: My assumption is that you're either talking about cutting down glare or you were told that computer screens were "bad for you." No study has linked computer screens to poor eye health other than getting some dry eye by keeping them open longer than usual. You can cut down glare by putting of those filtering screens over the screen. No need for glasses here. Hope that helps. ...Read more
