Be careful with meds: Imodium (loperamide) is not a 'cure all' and I actually prefer my patients NOT to take it unless absolutely necessary. It seems also ur diagnosis is still in question -do u or do u not have Giardia? Diarrhea is 'good' in a way, since the body is getting rid of germs. You just need to 'keep up' with fluid and salt losses, & of course the inconvenience of going to the bathroom often. Hopefully ur doc can guide u ...Read more
