Sweet grapes ok for diabetics? Is Glycemic Index what we should look for in foods? To my shock, grapes are relatively low on the GI chart.

Sure, but…: Glycemic index is only a small part of the process of weight loss. By itself, it does very little. Better tips: make half your meal vegetables and fruits. Go for variety.
