Is Gerson therapy effective for patients with fibromyalgia?

Is Gerson therapy effective for patients with fibromyalgia?

By itself?: The best thing about gerson therapy is its emphasis on excellent nutrition, very clean & anti-inflammatory. It's also a difficult therapy to keep up with, without help with all the juicing requirements. This treatment approach was developed specifically for various cancers. Fibromyalgia is not one of the conditions listed on the http://gerson.Org web site, so it's difficult to say yes or no. ...Read more

What amount of the Gerson therapy would you recommend for severe allergies? Also, any advice on how to stay clean enough?

What amount of the Gerson therapy would you recommend for severe allergies? Also, any advice on how to stay clean enough?

No amount: Gerson therapy is an unproven form of treatment without any scientific basis . How does bmt compare to other therapies?

How does bmt compare to other therapies?

Bone marrow transpla: I think you're asking about a bone marrow transplant, which is a radical cancer treatment. Essentially it is used to allow the oncologist to use such a high dose of chemotherapy medication that it would completely "wipe-out" all of the growing cells in the body all at once, even the blood producing cells in the bone marrow, and then restore the marrow, essentially rescuing the patient. ...Read more

CBT: Cognitive behavioral therapy is most often provided by psychologists and other licensed psychotherapists -- although some psychiatrists do also. Whether or not you need a referral for reimbursed care depends on your specific insurance plan. Some policies severely limit access to mental health providers, or do not cover this area at all. The average duration depends on the problem(s) you have. ...Read more
