Parkinson. Slowness movement, beginning state. 2 guide fr 2 doctors: 1st: sifrol 250; 2nd: trivastal 50mg, lioresal (baclofen) 10mg, artane 2mg. Which one better?

Critique: Trivastal, a newer Dopamine agonist, is not available in the usa, but might be a choice. Sifrol, pramipexole, is likely your safest and best starting drug. There is no role for lioresal, (baclofen) and Artane is literally "poison" and is not used in the usa. Choose the doc who recommended sifrol. ...Read more

Is 4 mg intuniv & 2mgrisperdal too much for a 5 1/2 yr old, im worried..His neurologist prescibed for pddnos & adhd?

ADD/ ADHD/PDD: If your child was evaluated by an md who is a neurologist, i think you need to follow his recommendation, watch any adverse effect. Most of the time dose is calculated according to the severity of symptoms. You can have a second opinion always, if you are not comfortable. I usually start with a lower dose, then titrate slowly over the time to a level on which the symptoms remain under control. ...Read more

Saw new md(insurance change). Gave her med records w/former md's dx&tx.New md was rude & condescending to me d/t former md's dx! what's your take on this?

Not sure, but...: Not sure about all that, but a patient should always make a copy of her medical records if she has them. Then, she can give just the copy to her new doctor.
