Gentian violet/monis: Although gentian violet is effective locally for yeast and has been used in babies for thrush in the past before we had better alternatives, it is a little messy and makes a little coloured mess and can stain the clothes. You are usin Monistat lacally which is more effective and can be used on nipples and in vagina as well.
