What is the best OTC topical drug to remove redness after acnes? My face is have always redness of already eliminated acnes what's the solution?

Can I become immune to benzamycine topical for acne?

Can I become immune to benzamycine topical for acne?

Yes and no: Benzamycine is actually 2 medicines - benzoyl peroxide and erythromycin.None of the strains of the bacteria that cause acne have become resistant to benzoyl peroxide yet, so that is still good to go. However, some strains are erythromycin resistant, so that part of it may need to be changed. Other combo products, like Benzaclin (clindamycin and benzoyl peroxide) (benzoyl peroxide and clindamycin) may work. Talk to your dermatologist ...Read more

Topical treatment for acne scars?

Topical treatment for acne scars?

Fading creams: The gold standard for lightening dark marks is hydroquinone. You can purchase fading creams that contain 2-3% hydroquinone without a prescription (ambi, atra, porcelana, nadinola, to name a few). You should also be careful to protect your skin with sunscreen, as sun will make dark marks darker. Stronger prescription fading creams and chemical peels exist. Pitted scars require laser resurfacing. ...Read more

Any DETRIMENTAL EFFECTS of long term (TOPICAL) isotretinoin/erythromtcin use on the skin? Like premature aging? Been using it on/off 11 yrs for acne.

I have never heard: Of topical isotretinoin (that is accutane) do you mean tretinoin (or retin A)? Topical retinoic acid will not hurt and can help as it stimulates new collagen and thickens the epidermis. Topcial erythromycin is just a topical antibiotic.
