Yes-herpes is tricky: Most people don't have outbreaks once they acquire herpes-so hopefully that is you, since they can be painful and embarrassing. You might be a risk though, even WITHOUT obvious rashes/sores because of something called 'asymptomatic viral shedding'. The best thing is to TALK to your partner(s) AND use protection. Barrier protection isn't 100% though for a number of reasons. There are antivirals too ...Read more

Possibly: Since Herpes 2 is sexually transmitted, the same person is more likely to have other STD, thus the answer is possible but not absolute.
