Is there any method for gender selection?

Yes, but: There are no natural methods for gender selection, that's all myth. Sperm sorting for insemination can reportedly shift odds to around 70/30 (from 50/50, ) although some experts dispute its usefulness. Gender can be selected by embryo biopsy at ivf, but in the us is usually considered inappropriate except for medical reasons. ...Read more

What is the rate of success of modified ericsson method for gender selection. I want exact perventage for boy gender. Am lost with different answers?

No definitive answer: There is no definitive answer, and thus why you are "lost with differing answers." ericsson methods can never fully extrapolate 100% sperm for male or female, ...The layers of gender-selected sperm are of higher concentrations but not pure. Why there is no concensus on ericsson method for gender selection and still used. If it is useless why not forbidden. It is unethical for drs to use?

Autonomy rules: This is the crude technique of centrifuging sperms, the x-chromosome carriers being heavier than the y-chromosome carrier. It works so-so, thus ethical. Free speech allows advocacy even of obvious false claims and many dubious practices. I'd encourage you not to sex-select your child; in countries where there is selection for boys, girls will be at a huge advantage in the next generation. ...Read more

Sorry...: The ericsson method has no scientific basis to back up its claims. No study has been able to show that it has any validity. The only way to be sure of the gender of the baby is in-vitro fertilization. ...Read more
