Dysglycaemia: Approved 1999 for chronic bronchitis, sinusitis, pneumonia & urinary tract infections. In 2006, the drug was considered unsafe for diabetics, elderly and patients with renal insufficiency. Patients in their 70s treated with Tequin were more likely to develop hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia than similar patients treated with other antibiotics.
