Get some Immodium: , keep up with fluids and try generic zantac (ranitidine). If you are vomiting badly you may need to be seen for nausea medicine. You are assuming a virus but what about food poisoning or a stomach ulcer. If persistent then go in, good luck. ...Read more

Not likely: Part of the recovery is for your body to make antibodies that are protective against reinfection . Unless the kids have some type of immune deficiencies, they should be making these protective antibodies.
