BM frequency varies: Widely, commonly from several times/day to once every 3 days, less if not eating much or foods with very low residuals. You are describing symptoms, responses we may become consciously aware of, after intense enough or less distracted. However symptoms are only clues, not causes. U volunteer Hx of gastrointestinal issues. As embodied Soul? Mind? Brain? Body creatures, controls/causes mostly internal.

No ER!: Your poop being a different color, consistency, etc, is NOT a medical emergency. That's what emergency rooms are for. This is a problem MUCH BETTER handled by your primary doctor who can evaluate, order any appropriate tests AND follow up on those things. An ER doctor is just going to bill you thousands of dollars to say you're not dying today and go see your usual doctor this week.

Yellow stool stomach cramps and gas pain upper GI scope done I have ulcers and gastritis. No fever no nausea always hungry take protonix (pantoprazole) and carafate?

GI care: It seams that you are being evaluated for these conditions. How long on Protonix (pantoprazole) and carafate and how much benefit? Are some of your symptoms newer since on this regimen? Bloating and yellow stool may be suggestive of a need for eval of liver, your blood work would better tell this story. Follow up with your gastroenterologist.

Can gastritis cause low grade fever (99.00), body ache and stomach ache?

Absolutely: Keep yourself hydrated with any sort of gatorade or similar substance. Keep to a very bland diet. If it persists for more than a few days you must see a doctor to rule out more serious illness.

Abdominal pain: Abdominal pain is a very common complaint among children of all ages. Gastritis can cause abdominal pain. If she is feeling acid come up, having vomit tasting burps then acid reflux is a potential. There are many more questions to ask about the pain and timing of the pain to figure out the proper treatment. Also make sure that there aren't stressors that could be contributing to her pain.

EGD diagnosis atrophic gastritis/IM. 4d history of moderate to severe stomach pain, fever, nausea/vomiting worse at night. What can I take for relief besides PPI?

Fever abdominal pain: If EGD was 4 days ago call your doctor/ ER/urgent care NOW and state you are having post procedure pain and fever, could be from biopsy site, microperforation, pancreatitis, bleed, sepsis or spasm. If EGD was a while ago can be H. pylori, infection, gallbladder, pancreatitis, esophageal infection (rarely candida). Ranitidine/carafate may help, but need to seek immediate medical attention.

Have been diagnosed with IBS and Gastritis and ulcers and Hpylori. The hyplori is gone and ive tried nexium and a strict diet. Nothing seems to be helping. What else can I do? I have severe constipation, random fevers, random rashes, abdominal pain, nasea

See answer: Not sure about the fever/rash but you may want to get your thyroid checked out. Also get checked for celiac disease. See your doctor and ask about using miralax (polyethylene glycol) for your constipation. Once it is in control, your pain and nausea should get better. Antispasmodic medications like hyoscyamine can help with the abdominal pain associated with IBS. Hope this helps.

Abdominal pain for two weeks doctors think it's gastritis or constipation I am now having flu like symptoms no nausea with a fever what's going on?

Many causes: Many possible causes for flu like symptoms with abdominal pain. .. Evaluation includes making sure you aren't pregnant, doing a pelvic examination to look for uterine and ovarian causes sometimes a simple trial of antacids (h2 blockers) can reveal the source. Please be sure to get followup with your doctor if this doesn't improve on its own.
