What are the differences between duodenal and gastric ulcers in symptoms !? And which one food will releif its pain !?
I've been on Nexium (esomeprazole) for 17 years and stopped it a few weeks ago. Before i started it i had gastric and duodenal ulcers. Will these return?
Possibly: Ulcers in the duodenum and stomach are usually caused by excess acid production. Nexium (esomeprazole) lowers acid production and thus decreases ulcer formation.
