Severe pain in right abdomen 7 months after full vaginal hysterctomy. Gallbladder removed 2 yrs ago as well..Feeling of constipation also?

Severe pain in right abdomen 7 months after full vaginal hysterctomy. Gallbladder removed 2 yrs ago as well..Feeling of constipation also?

Get checked: Pain in the right side could be your colon, especially since you say you are experiencing constipation. If you still have your ovaries and tubes it could also be a cyst on the ovary or tube, or a twisted ovary or tube. Also possible is a muscle spasming in your abdominal wall. See your doctor. ...Read more

Gi says I have ibs and constipation I'm having a burning sensation under my right rib gallbladder removed last year is it from ibs?

Could be: Hard to say for sure, because there is no formal testing for IBS. It certainly is not your gallbladder. It doesn't sound dangerous, and you should ask your doctors if it is appropriate for you to take medication for IBS. At least a trial to see if it helps. Hope this helps! ...Read more

What things would an abdominal ultrasound show? Gallbladder removed. Abdominal pain/ constipation/vomiting/weight loss 10 lbs in 3 weeks.

Lots of things: An ultrasound of the abdomen can show an abnormal liver, or gallbladder, including gallstones. It can show inflammation in the pancreas. I had my gallbladder removed a month ago, I am always constipated, now, will culturelle help with that?

I had my gallbladder removed a month ago, I am always constipated, now, will culturelle help with that?

Pain Meds?: Are you still taking prescription meds for pain? Narcotics can worsen constipation. Either way you want to avoid constipating, high-fat foods and increase the fiber in your diet. Make sure you are well hydrated or the fiber won't work as well. If diet is not enough, you can add over-the-counter fiber supplements but again, stay hydrated. F/u with surgeon if not improved to rule out other cause. ...Read more

Check out these: Links. Try drinking lots of water with prune juice, magnesium citrate, stay active etc. If symptom persists, see a GI for possible colonoscopy.Perhaps pain meds ur taking and insufficient fluid intake are contributing to ur symptom. Burning between breast, full feeling. Went to Er, gall bladder removed. Now alot of gurgling sounds in stomach, constipation and shoulder pain. Norm?

Probably ok: Constipation not uncommon after surgery. If surgery recent, and shoulder pain mild, may just be healing. Try gentle laxative like milk of magnesia or miralax for const. If shoulder pain severe or has been long duration, follow up with your surgeon. ...Read more
