Gallbladder.: If your gallbladder appears inflamed on ultrasound and has free fluid around it, associated with symptoms which sound like gallbladder symptoms, I would say the most likely cause of your symptoms is your gallbladder. Unlikely : The ultrasound is very sensitive at picking up gallstones, on rare occasions, it may be wrong, and other imaging is necessary. However in your case, it may be due to other causes, such as appendicitis, kidney infection, gastritis, or reflux.
