I am having diabetic neuropathy. It is very painful. My doctor wants to try neurontin (gabapentin). It may also help with my restless legs syndrome. any ideas?
PN & RLS Rx: Neurontin (gabapentin) is used to treat both those conditions. It is possible that you have both, but be careful. The symptoms overlap. There are special symptoms for RLS that PN does not have- such as it improves with walking.
