There are some: Other options. After increasing Gabapentin to where the side affects get to you, you can try Lyrica (pregabalin) as well. If that class of meds is not helping, consider medications like Cymbalta which also can help. Consider topical pain creams containing ketamine that can be very beneficial for neuropathy pain. Also try desensitization techniques like contrast baths. Make sure to have regular foot exams too. ...Read more

No interaction: There is no interaction between the two drugs. Pravachol (pravastatin) is a "statin" drug. Muscle pain is an adverse effect to be worried about with these drugs. I would call his prescribing doctor asap. The mood swings may be from his muscle pain. ...Read more
