Stay well hydrated. It is possible for these medications to lower your blood pressure. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
Depends . . .: Whether any given antibiotic works depends upon whether the infection is caused by a sensitive bacteria. For instance, common cold is caused by a virus and thus won't be affected by any antibiotic. Anyway, dalacin c is a brand not sold in the states. Whether the generic Clindamycin will work "correctly" depends upon what caused your infection. Ask your doc for culture & sensitivity. ...Read more
I switch from cymbalta (duloxetine) 90mg to Zoloft 50mg by tapering cymbalta (duloxetine) but after 10 dayes i finish my last 30 mg cymbalta (duloxetine) but i can't sleep even with trazadon?
May take longer. : Zoloft and Cymbalta (duloxetine) are actually very different from each other. Cymbalta (duloxetine) is very potent and works on two different receptors (serotonin ; norepinephrine ) and many people take longer to get off of it. Zoloft works mostly on one (receptor) and 50 mg is a low dose. Talk to your doctor about this. ...Read more

Get second opinion: The combination could readily backfire, as the Elavil (amitriptyline) and Ativan can both cause anti-cholinergic side effects, and additive sedation, lethargy, and dizziness. Both very low dose, but nonetheless may cause more problems than success. Not clear why these two have been started together. ?Psych Concierge appt? ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Yes: You may take these two medicines together. The Ibuprofen will not enhance the effect of the Lorazepam as it is not a narcotic. 600 mg Ibuprofen should not be taken more than every 6 hours. Agree with Dr Davis: If the Dilantin blood level is too low, increasing the dose may help, but if gets too high, you will become toxic. Please be aware, that the maximal effective dose of Gabapentin is 2400 mg daily, and beyond that, no further benefits. Might discuss all of this with your doctor. Good luck. ...Read moreSee 4 more doctor answers
What could cause frequent pvcs (benign) daily? Bupropion XL 150mg 3x daily, Prozac (fluoxetine) 20mg, or the combo? Also take 200mg modafinil, levothroid 88mcg.
Your medications: The Modafinil is a stimulant which can cause abnormal hearth rhythms. Your levothroid, if not properly dosed could do it as well, ask your doctor for a blood test to make sure that dose is not too high for you. Being 58 years old, you could have heart problems unrelated to the medications. You should see a doctor to get this evaluated. ...Read more

I have MS and trigem neuralgia and have terrible pain. Tried gaba, baclofen, norco, (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) elavil, tegretol, otc, etc...What is the best pain med for this?
Trigeminal neuralgia: Sadly trigeminal neuralgia is a poorly understood disease that has an even worse track record for treatment. Most patients suffer from this disease without much relief. There is a growing body of evidence looking into Lamotrigine as a treatment. Ask your prescribing doctor if this is an alternative. ...Read moreSee 3 more doctor answers
